Trying to encapsulate Emily and Jason’s wedding into a blog post is almost impossible for me. Having known these two for years with many shared memories along the way, all I can say is that their wedding was both meaningful and magical.
We celebrated at Emily’s family farm in Connecticut. Granted with the most perfect, sunny Saturday afternoon guests gathered for their outdoor ceremony and reception in the early afternoon. But before the official portion of the day began, we popped around to get some first look images, a few bridal portraits and, of course, the “drop trou” shots. Yup! That was a first for me and now will be one of my top groomsmen moves, ever. Jason—you and your pranks! Natalie and Sarah from Whim Events coordinated the event, executing all of the details and special touches. The event was catered by Culinary Breakdown and the food was hands down, some of the best I've ever eaten. The steak? Seriously, I need the recipe for that and the potatoes. We finished the night with cigars, chicken wings, S’mores, more sangria and getting crazy on the dance floor. Oh, I wish I could go back and do it all over again it was so fun!
